Welcome to Just Call Me Viv!

Hello, my name is Vivian but you can just call me Viv. I'm a woman navigating my journey through "middle life". I first started my blog two years ago during the pandemic, and called it Mardeva Life after 40. After a hiatus, I've changed the name of my blog. (Mardeva was in honor of my mom but it isn't my name). Come along with me, as I ride out my forties and see my 50's on the horizon. This is a period of renewal in my life. I've gotten over the fear of what people may think, seized the bull by the horns and started a Blog! In this blog I'll write about all the things that interest me, being a mom, home decor, hair (including grays and chin hairs!), fashion, beauty, wellness, personal development, travel and scratching things off my bucket list. The truth is that turning 40 felt overwhelming...like the end of my youth.

The truth is that life isn't over after 40. It actually gets better.

A fun and exciting life. It can be a time to renew past interests or start off on a new career. I'm starting my creative journey into the world of blogging and I've learned so much along the way.
